Fee Structure
Payment Policies
- Payment is due at the time of service
- Accepted payment methods: Credit cards, debit cards, HSA cards, cash, and check
- The Comprehensive Assessment fee includes the MCMI-IV psychological test and materials
- Cancellations require 24-hour notice to avoid full session charge
Insurance Information
I am not a participating provider in any insurance networks.
However, I can provide you with a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. The superbill will include:
- Diagnosis codes (when clinically appropriate)
- Procedure codes
- Session dates and fees
- My license information
Please check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network mental health benefits before beginning treatment.
Professional Policies
Confidentiality
Your privacy is protected by strict confidentiality guidelines. What we discuss in therapy remains confidential with the following legal exceptions:
- Suspected abuse of children, elderly, or disabled persons
- When there is a threat of serious bodily harm to yourself or others
- Court-ordered disclosure
- When you provide written permission to release information
Communication Between Sessions
- I am not always immediately available between sessions
- I will attempt to return calls and emails within one business day
- Brief phone calls (under 10 minutes) are not charged
- Longer consultations between sessions will be prorated based on the regular session fee
- For emergencies: Contact your local hospital emergency room or call 911
Minors and Confidentiality
When working with minors, I follow these guidelines:
- Minors have protected communication rights under state law
- Parents may have limited access to session content
- I will discuss my approach to confidentiality with both parents and minors at the outset
- Safety concerns will always be communicated to parents/guardians
Professional Consultations
To ensure you receive the best possible care, I may occasionally consult with other professionals about cases. During such consultations:
- Your identity will be protected
- Only necessary information will be shared
- Consultants are bound by the same confidentiality rules

- Accessibility accommodated - please share any needs in advance
Secondary Location: Laguna Beach, California
Telehealth Services:
- Secure video sessions available for clients located in New Mexico and California
- Available for established clients when clinically appropriate
- Same fee structure as in-person sessions
Hours: By appointment only, with evening and weekend availability
